The program is an important step towards expanding your knowledge and experience as a scuba diver. During the course you will cover topics such as diving first aid, panicked diver response, missing diver procedures and search techniques, in- water artificial respiration and take part in dive accident scenarios. The PADI Rescue Diver learns to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well-being of other scuba divers.

You'll also learn important self-rescue techniques and how to activate a signalling device (safety balloon).

During the 3 day course you'll complete confined water sessions, put rescue management procedures in to practise in a real-life scenario and deal with panicked, distressed and unconscious divers in the water.
